How is chicago weather? What should I wear when I go to Chicago?
Category: Weather
Chicago has very distinct four seasons. Mind your closing when visiting Chicago in different periods of year. You can get yourself prepared according to the average monthly temperature (F Dgree):
Jan: 25
Feb: 31
Mar: 44.5
Apr: 50.5
May: 60.5
Jun: 70.5
Jul: 75
Aug: 74
Sep: 66.5
Oct: 55
Nov: 42
Dec: 30.5
While precipitation, humidity, wind speed, cloud and other variables are taken into consideration, Chicago weather can be totally unpredictable!
Always bring a good insulated coat or windbreaker, or pieces that you can add or subtract as the daily temperature rises or falls, Chicago is not called Windy City for no reason! This may make evenings of the hot humid summer pretty cool and cold snowy winter rather nippy, which is especially apparent in areas close to the lake, e.g., Michigan Avenue and the near vicinity.
Dress in layers during winter. Depending on how well you cope with the cold, you can bring heavy gloves, hat or ear muffs, scarf, long johns, warm boots with traction, sturdy umbrella, etc.
Spring in Chicago is short, with moderate temperature and frosty nights. Jeans, jackets with lining, sweaters, long sleeve shirts, and long pants would be suitable.
Autumn is the loveliest time to visit Chicago, just dress comfortably whenever possible.
Summer dress code in Chicago should be the light-colored loose-fitting cotton products. While outdoors, a hat, sunscreen with a SPF 15+, and sunglasses with a 98+ percent UVA protection would apply.

How to get apartment rental chicago il?
Category: Accommodation
For those moving into the great city, there are bad news and good news when it comes to apartments for rent.
The good news is that there is an enormous array of housing options in central Chicago and the suburban vicinity. The bad news is that Chicago's overall cost of living is incredibly 66% above the national average.
For one bedroom, the average monthly rent would go for simply over $1500, utility costing would add to that by an average $86.
To get the appropriate apartment rental that suits your specific needs, consider choosing from the diverse neighborhoods that give Chicago its proud tradition as a cosmopolitan city.
You can roughly divide Chicago into the North, West and South Sides, so called to imply their corresponding location on Chicago River. Thanks to the 'L' and the Metra rail, commuting into and out of the city is pretty efficient and economical.
The most residential North Side is the place to find the nicest Chicago apartment rental deals. Gold Coast and River North are the most prestigious neighborhoods to settle in while Lincoln Park, Lake View and Edgewater the most pleasant. Further north outside of the city, Evanston, Gurnee and Waukegan are addresses to value.
The West Side is more industrial and the place to search for lower-income abodes. West Loop contains some high-rise blocks. Oak Park is among the premier communities to move in. Further west, Naperville and Aurora have plentiful apartments of choice.
The vast South Side contains a considerable variety of apartments and houses. Hyde Park is second-to-none for everyone.
You can get access to comprehensive information about your choice of apartment more selectively by visiting http://chicago.apartments.com/.

Click for Chicago, Illinois Forecast
Nestled on the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan, Chicago is the biggest claim to fame of the Great Lakes. There is about 20% of the entire country's population living in an area known as "Chicagoland". "The Big City" simply befits Chicago's immensity and diversity as the country's third-largest city.

Known as the "Windy City", Chicago enjoys the year-round blessing of the northeast wind from Lake Michigan. Midsummer comes with heavy humidity and intense heat wave, plus the hottest events such as the Taste of Chicago. Snowfall, frost and cold air from the north can drive temperatures way below zero. Spring and fall are more pleasant time to visit, with better weather and less crowds.

Rising from its own ashes left by the 1871 Chicago Fire, "The Second City" is busy regaining its time-honored labor tradition as the cradle of the International Labor Day and the International Women's Day, the liveliness in music industry which earned Chicago "The Blues Capital of the World", and the distinction of being the "City of the Big Shoulders" that's spiked with some of the most skyscraping buildings of the world.

Play on its Lake Michigan shoreline or partake in its downtown skyline, your choice!
